FAQ - important to read sections information

Uniforms

If your player is a full-time player (not an alternate) and does not yet have a uniform, please visit the Uniforms page, read through the information, and submit the uniform deposit 1 week prior to the first tournament. This allows the program director to order and/or give your coach your uniform. Please bring both top and bottoms of uniforms to the game.

Game Times & Locations

Tournament schedules are provided to us by tournament staff on Friday morning. We will post them as soon as we receive them. Please keep in mind that times and locations may still change. Game times are set by the tournament director and not by TPB Staff.

RSVP (Crossbar phone app)

On the Tuesday before each Saturday tournament, all players should RSVP in Crossbar to indicate availability for both games.

  • If your player cannot attend most of the day, please select “No.” This allows the coach to plan ahead and invite an alternate or another player.
  • If your player can attend but has a time constraint, select “Yes” and post the details in the Crossbar app Chat by Wednesday so the coach is aware.
  • Example: “3/21 Games: Marco is available to play but needs to leave by 5 PM due to his grandmother’s 75th birthday dinner.”
  • Full-time players are expected to attend all games.
  • Alternate players should plan to be available for all games, RSVP as well, and check in at the last practice before the tournament to see if they are being invited to play.

Game Day

  • Please check the schedule 2–3 hours before the game in case there are any last-minute changes and keep an eye on Crossbar Chat for updates.
  • Plan to arrive 30 minutes before each game so players have time to gear up, warm up, mentally prepare, and review strategy with the coach.

Playing Time

As outlined in the Code of Conduct, playing time is earned and determined at the coach’s discretion. If you have questions or concerns about playing time, please feel free to reach out to the coach before or after practice. To help keep the focus on the players and the game, game days are not the best time for these discussions.

Arrival

  • Players are expected to arrive 30 minutes before their game time. This is to time for the player to find the court and his team, get geared up, allow for warm-ups, and pre-game strategy discussion with coach.
  • Most tournaments requires an entry fee. Some allow for credit payment, but bring cash just in case.
