What is Top Performance Basketball?
Top Performance Basketball is primarily a player development program that participates in AAU tournaments. Our goal is to teach our players important life skills through the game of basketball. In terms of basketball, we focus on helping our players be successful on their high school and middle school teams.
Where is Top Performance Basketball located?
Top Performance Basketball is located in Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore, and San Ramon. We have practice facilities across the Tri-Valley Area.
Is Top Performance Basketball a year-round program?
Yes, TPB operates year-round with tryouts occurring every 2 months. We typically have 8-10 week sessions, where each team practices and play in 2-3 tournaments per month (depending on age group). Each team will practice about 1-3 times per week (depending on age group).
What are the age groups?
Top Performance Basketball has teams and/or skills training for 2nd through 12th graders. Teams are created based on demand.
Does Top Performance Basketball have teams for girls?
Yes! Top Performance Basketball proudly has Girls-only workouts run by our excellent coaches. We are looking forward to creating multiple Girls teams starting at the beginning of 2025.
What if I can't commit to a full session?
We have an alternate option for players that cannot commit full time. Alternate players can attend practices and tournament games based on availability.
What is the process to join?
- Fill out the Player Registration form (link on right side of this page).
- Attend a skills workout or tryout date:
- Check the website calendar for upcoming dates.
- Open to new or returning players.
- At the end of the season, results of players who made the team will be posted on the Bulletin Board under the current season (e.g., winter) with next steps instructions.
